Here’s me and Sasha at O’Leno State Park.
Obviously this is from a while back when it was still cold.
I miss those days.
Taken by my good friend Alex.

Here we have Sarah at O’leno once again (I have a State Park Pass so I get in free or at a reduced rate to any state park in Florida). Alex (the photographer) and I usually take one of my puppies to one of the various state parks around us, every weekend. Sarah usually goes alone because she likes it that way, while Sasha and Ginger have been going together lately. Sasha gets her alone time as well, but she loves being around Ginger so they get to go together when we’re not hiking (Ginger can’t handle long hikes because of her hips). Sasha and Sarah almost never go together anywhere because they need alone time (according to our vet).

This is Ginger, our Yellow Lab (obviously not a Chocoweimer).
She’s really the first dog we’ve ever had for an extended period of time. We’ve had other dog’s before her, but they either ran away, were stolen, or were given away. We’ve had her since 2001 and she’s easily the best dog we’ve ever had, and one of the best we ever will have (Sarah and Sasha are pretty darn good dogs as well, but they can be unruly and wily).
Anyway, this is Ginger at O’Leno State Park, in High Springs, Florida. My friend (Alex the awesome photographer) took her and Sasha to the park and later to a boat ramp so they could swim in the river. This was taken on a dock/boardwalk overlooking part of the river in O’Leno. Ginger is allowed to walk around without someone holding onto the leash because she won’t go anywhere or bolt (she doesn’t even like to leave our side, when she’s off leash she continuously glances back to make sure we’re still following her).
Seriously though, here’s the puppies first time EVER at the river. They loved it (of course), what kind of Chocoweimer wouldn’t?
The one to the left is Sasha (originally her collar color was purple), in the middle we have Ginger, our polar bear (shes a not really a bear), and on the right we have Sarah (her collar color was pink). When we first got the pups we were really scared that we wouldn’t be able to tell them apart, since the looked identical (which is where the different colored collars came into play). But as we spent more time with them their personalities really came out and now we (mainly I) can tell them apart just by sight (or you can pick up something and throw it, and the dog that goes after it is Sarah).
This is Sarah, one of my three dogs.
My best friend (Alex) and I took her to O’Leno State Park on February 19th, 2011.
She likes to swim and to fetch, which is how we got this picture (I’m holding a stick above my head while Alex is snapping pics). Click the picture to visit Alex’s Flickr!
